Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of warphilosophy.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of the digital works we publish. War Philosophy is operated by Haligraph Publishing (“we”, “us”). By placing an order or using the Site you agree to these Terms.

1. The works

We sell digital publications — primarily e-books and written works delivered as downloadable files. Product pages describe the format and contents of each title. We make a reasonable effort to describe each work accurately, but we do not warrant that descriptions, sample text, or cover art are free of error.

2. Orders and payment

All prices are shown at checkout in the listed currency and are payable in full at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by our payment provider over an encrypted connection; we do not store your full card details. We may refuse or cancel any order, and will refund any amount already charged if we do.

3. Delivery

Digital works are made available for download as soon as your payment is confirmed, and a link is sent to the email address you provide. It is your responsibility to enter a correct email address and to download your files. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect contact details or by mail filtering on your end.

4. Licence and permitted use

When you buy a work, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read it for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, sub-licence, publicly post, or commercially exploit any work, in whole or in part, without our written permission. The copyright and all other rights in the works, the Site, and our marks remain with us or our licensors.

5. Refunds

Because our products are digital and delivered immediately, all sales are generally final. If a file is defective, was not delivered, or was materially misdescribed, contact us and we will repair, replace, or refund it. Write to hello@warphilosophy.com with your order number.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site: no attempting to breach its security, no automated scraping of the catalogue, no circumventing the download or payment systems, and no use of the works in any way that infringes our rights or the rights of others.

7. Disclaimers

The works we publish are sold for general reading and reflection. They are not legal, financial, military, or professional advice, and nothing in them creates any such relationship. The Site and the works are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the work concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one in force; material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
